F-102A, these were a cool aircraft, Oregon ANG flew them into the 1970's, the were armed with the Genie air to air missiles (nukes) designed to eliminate formations of enemy (USSR) bombers. Suspect the F-102 was a tad bit quicker down the runway than the '59 Dodge Royal Lancer..

Dodge did a few aircraft and Air Force tie-in commercials and ads in the '55-'57 time frame. There's one where the three models of '55 Dodges all converge into a formation as they drive out of their housing area and head toward the air strip. Pretty neat!

Can't forget the Flight Sweep Styling from back then!

A few '56 images I've found. Perhaps here? Somewhere, there's an image of the NHRA Safety Safari, who was driving a '56 Plymouth station wagon. With their equipment trailer hitched to it.
