These pics are from when he had to take it out of a garage he had it in. Car has never seen snow it was his uncle's car only two other owners besides the guy I'm helping . If interested I can help you get a hold of the guy that owns it. They only built a little over 900 of these in 1970!

We've seen this before. I passed on it. So did others, given that the seller was firm at $8k.

Same price, same text, photos taken during @Big_John's visit to the initial seller and posted here.

What I find interesting is that the seller's name is different [EDIT (1:20PM): only "Erica" is different; "Jim" is the same first name as back in December; if this is the same person (I did not ask for the last name at the time), then IMHO he's a straight shooter].

I don't do FB, but someone who does should insist on new/better pics of the car. The ones shown here date back to early December and have been publicly available, as has the entire info in the ad.

One more reason to ask is that @mdh157 was told back in December that the car had sold. The story being pitched here is inconsistent with Mark's info. EDIT (1:20PM): My guess is that the seller decided that he was getting a lousy price due to the time of sale (December, upstate NY, snow) and decided to wait till Spring when prices tend to go up.

PS (1:20PM): I had access to my notes over lunch, and checked. "Jim" was in fact the name of the seller's agent back in December. I did not hear of "Erica" at the time, but maybe Jim and Erica share a FB account -- FaceBook was not part of the equation when I looked at the car in December, so I would not know.

Isnt this the car that was for sale at Carlisle 3 or 4 years ago? The seller was from New Jersey I believe. I think he wanted $8800 and it didn't sell.

Nope. The current NY car was new to FCBO'ers -- including Polara Dave. I think that you are referring to Don's car, a NJ/AZ car on which you have commented before. Don's car is now in Europe (a video proving that fact can be found on YouTube).

Here is Don's former car at Carlisle in 2013:

and in the Netherlands in late 2014:

This car is looking a lot better now than we saw it in Carlisle. At Carlisle it was needing quite a bit of work cosmetically on the interior and the exterior. It looks great now!
