Chrysler 300 Hurst - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive...

What a weird description too. Someone who "knows what this is" surely wouldn't swap out the radiator for an aluminum unit and absolutely will want the road wheels.

Thank you, I saw this and was going to post it up, even searched for about an hour to see if it was here before as a members car or a not mine AD. LOL I'll leave it as this...

perhaps someone can capture this one for posterity (including VIN)? 30 days or less (if it sells) CL pics will disappear. It may be badk again so we shouldnt lose track of it.

as to price ask vs observed condition? Feels "tall" to me. might be just right as a starting point for willing buyers and sellers -- I couldn't get there from here however.

no other comment .. i don't dis people's stuff -- if I a player for a sled, I'll try for it in private. if am not, or can't make a deal, I wish 'em well in public.

yeah, ad is a bit of a head scratcher. writer professes to be Mopar fan but says things about thhis car (as already pointed out) that make you go "hmmm ..really?"

That said, I wish potential buyers and seller the best in a successful deal, at whatever price it might go for.

Well, posted 19 days ago, but he said if it didn't sell in two weeks it would go to auction....hmmm

Here's the full text of the AD.

Chrysler 300 Hurst - $41,000 (Stacy)

1970 300 Hurst

condition: good
cylinders: 8 cylinders
fuel: gas
odometer: 94000
title status: clean
transmission: automatic

This car was painted 17 years ago, and I have the name and number to the shop who did it. Paint wont look like this after 17 yrs unless it was done right and it was. As far as the rest, if you don't know what this car is your probably not going to buy. I am looking for the person who know the history of these and know 500 some only where made.

Numbers all match runs and drives super smooth

Needs, manifold gasket, tune up, radiator is fine but I would replace with aluminum. Drivers side windo works but slow and needs a bit of help. I was told when I bought it from the original owners son, the motor was rebuilt at 80,000 and by how smooth it runs I would say yes, but a fella dont know fore sure. Needs u joints as well and well, maybe just go thru it as it has been stored for the last 10 years. Does not overheat and I take small drives daily cause its fun.
Trunk is OK, but has some holes but structure is solid but I would replace pan, I can send more detail pics of this.
New custom molded carpet comes with, 280.00

Why am I selling it? I have12-13 Mopar's mostly imperials and that's what I love so this can go now
This will go to auction if not sold within the next two weeks.
I am sure I missed something...I like phone calls

Yes I do have the original rims, rings and caps if you like that

Even worse….when I first got my Hurst in 2018 I took lots of pics for restoration references but generally DIDNT record FTags and Door Stickers. I figure about six “got aways” before I realized that the Hursts haven’t been tracked like A-12s or Hemi ABods have been. I just assumed someone had been tracking them for 20+ years. Maybe someone has, but I have never come across it.

I wish the various Hurst owners here on CBod who haven’t contributed their info would come forward, but…..dunno why not.

Goodo for @Northcoast300h chiming in. His early build info might be the cornerstone of the entire database.
