Hi FCBO members. We have been had our 67 fury for a few years now, me and my partner brought it around 6 years ago, and have been chipping away at her each winter, and driving in the summer. We are getting towards the end of our build, and ive learnt quite a few things. When we got this car i had next to nill panel work and welding experience, i took a break from my regular job and worked as a labourer at a local panel shop for just under 2 years to gain some basic skills before doing this panel work on fury. If i had known how rusty this car really was, i would have got a donor shell and put our running gear, suspension, and right-hand drive stuff into it, but you live and learn. And at the end of the day you can say "i fixed that"
Here she is when we got her, she lloked good, we had no idea what was lurking under all that bondo
first thing was a matt black bomb job and some chrome 18inch wheels and a twin exhaust system
Anyway we foud that the front floors had been bondod all over, and that was because the water chanels had rusted thru the inside of the bulkhead, so alot of work was done to these areas
