1970 300 convertible. I am replacing door panels purchased from SMS. The armrests in the back seat are separate from the rear door panels. A single piece of molded plastic I presume. They have yellowed somewhat and will not match the new door panels. I expect that unless I can find NOS, not likely, then the next alternative will be to paint the originals to match as closely as I can. I welcome advice on how to do this. What kind of paint?

Third on the SEM Color Coat . I painted the exact same panels in my 300 convertible. BTW, they are vinyl covered sheet metal and not plastic.
For the SEM to work well, you'll want to follow their procedure. This is a great reference video and how I did mine.
I didn't try. My interior had a few replacement bits and pieces of different colors. I really didn't care for the original brown, so I redid them in the SEM saddle color.
another vote for SEM. They will send you sample cards of all the lines of paint for refinishing plastic. On my 1978 Ramcharger seats the closest match was not an automotive color but a tan from the marine line.Good luck!
