Power Window Gear Assembly Interchangeability

Are the two styles of gear assemblies interchangeable?
The front motors have the style with the three pucks.
The rear motors have the style with the springs.
I got some new assemblies with the pucks, they appear to fit both styles.
Just thought it might save me having to clean the two (the two puck style are being replaced), the old grease is like shoe polish but thicker.

I believe they’re interchangeagle. The casting numbers on the housings the same?

I'm 99% sure they are interchangeable too. FWIW, my '70 300 has the spring style drives in all 4 motors. I just cleaned and greased them rather than replacing.

In fact, I believe the drives will interchange with a lot of the Ford window motors.
