I was at Hot August Nights again this past weekend. I forgot my camera so I don't have the pictures to post as I usually do.
But!
I saw this car and couldn't not use my phone to take a few shots, and I wish I took more! It is a Ford with a '58 392 Hemi in it. Talked with the owner; he built this car and engine in 1958 when he was 18 - in his High School Shop Class!! The Intake manifold, fuel rail (can't be seen), and many more items he hand-made himself!! For a living he was a farmer! My friend, Mike, and I were just enamored with this dude!
And!! He has two 331 Hemis for sale. Asked me to share the news. If you'd like his number send me a message.
In the one picture you can see the new 392 Hemi badge from a modern Dodge. His local dealer would not sell it to him! Kept telling him he did not have a 392! The guy left, went back the next day, talked with another salesman, and viola!
