Restoration of my families grocery getter

The paint is looking great, quite the save. Your family will be able to enjoy it for many years to come.

Mike, I,m still interested in the long painted moldings above the rear side glass if you end up with extras.
Will.

Not there yet, but will be in Tempe, will be thinking small parts for myself, and will be looking for these for you if desired, at Desert Valley Auto. Same goes for anyone else if they have a short list. Looks like I have a full day off plus Mr normal work day. Have to see how things work out but feel positive about a visit

was at DVA about 15 yrs ago then again about 3yrs ago difference between night and day last time stuff was so much more expensive the 2nd time( price of fame). had a better luck at another place it was called Hidden Valley Auto Parts in Maricopa,AZ 520-568-2945

So went to the shop on Friday, with a trunk full of disc brake conversion parts, the Challenger swallowed it all. Had a long talk about paint color on the various front end components, will resend the other thread that I posed the question in to the shop, to the shop. looked at the original stub frame, ends are definitely rusted out, the surprise was the front body mounts rusted through.

Breaking, UPDATE Sorry got excited. I am home for a week and had an opportunity to stop by the shop. Progress on the front end and rear end Of course have some snappies. Powder coating on stub frame looks great, some parts painted, such as ball joints to avoid the backing, that could destroy the rubber boots. Rear end cleaned up nicely, will be changing over to a closed rear end. Will go with the Auburn set up. Axial shafts look good, splined end are very clean. So far shout out to Craig at Mobile Parts, things are going well, thanks so far
