Reuse Holly carb 4749?

Sorry, you lost me earlier. I do not know all the numbers and terms here. All I know is the 4150 double pumper and the 4160. I guess mine is a version of the 4160, but only 600 cfm. You recommended the 780. Did you mean the 4150 style?

Also, is this clone a 4150 made to look like a 4160?

Exactly. It is convincing to the unsuspecting, but if you know what your looking at, it kinda reminds you of a fat guy in a little coat.

Lol. So, what’s involved for me. Do you have the parts to do something similar. Cost?
I do not need numbers matching.

I did that job for $375+ $125 for the core. You would get 10% off the $375 and the 780 core would be $100

Ok, ORDER UP! Here you go Cazman. Here is your undercover 780. A little more work than I first thought integrating the Chrysler throttle shafts, but worth it. Side hung float bowls and a 3310-3 rear metering plate, Chrysler style vacuum pod, and I had to get a little creative on the curb idle adjustment screw. The Chrysler main bodies have a cast on boss that the screw goes through that 3310’s don’t have and the Chrysler throttle shaft won’t work with the 3310 screw. I can’t wait to hear it make music on your 505”

Wow, looks great. Thanks for integrating the original throttle linkage, not only will it look correct but it will save me time hooking it up correctly. I love the idea of this thing being set up for my stroker, but still looking stock.
I have always rebuilt my own carbs and I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve wasted screwing around with jets and valves. It will be a treat to have one done by a pro.

That's awesome Dave. I did not get mine running last year but I know when it starts in a month or so my 800 DP is ready to run.
I changed my combo a bit, I'm now up around 11:1 cr so that should work well with cam. Wishing for 10s low 11a will be a success also.
Cazeman that carb looks great. I know you will be grinning when the naysayers say that carb won't work.
