Hey everyone, a quick follow-up on the coolant lube discussion... local NAPA guy (not a kid just looking stuff up on the computer but an old car guy) says cooling system lube is no longer necessary, that modern antifreeze has various lube additives in it that do what the old soap or lube treatments used to do.

I wasn't too clear about that. I meant if you run straight water, you will need lube.

Add a tiny bit of Tide and a squirt of Dawn to the initial straight water fill up.

Aha, I didn't read that carefully enough. You did make it clear that was for straight water. Oh well, I learned some things about coolant.
