Hi Guys:

Our 73 Town and Country's running lights come on just fine, but turning the headlight switch to the left does not bring on either the dome lights or dash lights. The switch I found on eBay is listed as being compatible with most 1973 Chryslers, but not the Town and Country.

Does anyone here know if the T&C did, in fact, use a different switch?

And does anyone have one available?

Thanks,

Jeff in Baltimore

Assuming that the dome light and cluster lights worked prior to changing the switch, you probably have the wrong switch. Most models used the same switch, the big exception being if your car has the 'twilight sentinel' option, this is a different switch.

Might also check the fuse panel just to see that nothing burned out. The cluster usually will have a 2amp fuse labeled either inst or acc. These things tended to collect rust on the fuse terminals that would cause a lack of contact even though the fuse was still good.
