I’ve got the trans from it too. Seems to me that it provisions for cable and lever. Maybe that my 62

Reference only. It’s a booming storm this morning n I should be able to make it out there this afternoon to mail u some pics

Its actually year specific. If you go on the site they sell a different set for 67/68 and 69/70.

You're forgetting 1971. Few changes to the sheet metal on 1971 models. Chrysler apparently decided to postpone the restyled 1971 models and had them ready to go for 1972. Instead the 1971 models received new grilles, trim and rear taillamps and, in the case of the Polara and Monaco, rear bumper and trunk lid.

Good evening! Just wanted to pass along a good photo. This is the type of thing that keeps C Body enthusiasts waking up every morning. Yes they are both mine.

Both are 1965 Monaco's (WW-1 White and SS-1 Ivory). Both are 383 cars w/A-727-B Torqueflite's and both have factory air conditioning. The white car has black interior 82,000 miles, and right now it is getting a well deserved new gas tank, fuel lines, fuel pump and just rebuilt the Carter AFB. Which for some reason the white car has a 3611S AFB Carter, but it looks to be original. I hate ETHANOL! The Ivory car is 100% complete 52,000 miles best I can figure, it has the Tan saddle interior in it.

Yes-yes, I know the Ivory car has Polara taillights, so get over it! The right rear Monaco taillight lens is broken unfortunately, and if you know 1965 Monaco's then you know these taillight lens are getting harder and harder to find even if you have the money to shuck out.

Probably going to sell the Ivory Monaco later this spring/summer. Might take it to Carlisle, as lucky me I do live fairly close. Unless I sell it before then. The Ivory car is a one owner southern car. Unfortunately the car sat for almost 35 years and never moved or was started, but luckily in a very dry climate and has almost zero rust anywhere. Unlike the Northeast it has zero rust, but it is dusty. I found the build sheet under the rear seat and have the traceability to the dealership.

It is a complete car with good glass, chrome, and is 100% complete.

Bad part is that the engine is locked up and there are 2 small holes through the trunk pan. Of course the car is perfect but the trunk weatherstrip leaked around the bad rubber for all those years. Also, the car is sunbaked and it cracked the dash. Looks like someone backed into the front right fender, but think it can be fixed. Though the floors are solid and the engine bay is rust free. Good project car for somebody. Would be awesome for parts as well, but I just don't have the heart to do that myself. Maybe someone will, but not me.

Some more pictures.............Also, just a note. When I do sell the Ivory Monaco it will be sold 100% complete as I have zero desire to sell parts off that car. I find my own self wanting to rob parts off if also, but I won't. Too complete of a car, with all the hard to find parts. Except the radio Antenna. Every 1965 C body I have ever owned has a broken Antenna, is this some sort of weird C body thing? Though the Ivory car deserves a complete restore. It is probably as close to a 100% rust free 1965 Dodge Monaco you would ever find and it deserves to be driven again.

Also, Thanks to (mopar_4life) who revived my 65 Monaco spirit after he posted this thread. It is a great thread and very happy to see everyone sharing. I was a little disappointed last year at the Chrysler nationals, when I didn't see any 1965 Monaco's. I might have missed one, but don't think there was a single one there. Not even sure I seen a Polara or 880 there, not even a 4 door. I truly love ALL C body Mopars, but the 1965 Monaco has always been my favorite. Mostly because of how much of an odd ball one year design it was. I will have both of mine at the Nationals this year though, unless I end up selling the Ivory car. Keep it up folks! Proud to be part of this chat!

Well were glad too. I wasn't expecting this many cars to come out of the wood works. When I got mine, I barley found any online.... I never saw another before or for many years after. Its nice to know that we have a small community of 65's. Thanks All.

That's exactly how I felt when I got my car (a 66), never knew about them til I saw it, and didn't see another for about three years. Now I hunt them!
