Timing chain replacement.

Just curious if the new timing chain had a lot less play than the old one you removed or were they about the same?

I replaced an old style Cloyes type single link chain with a double link one, which had less slack. The old one might have had 3/16" of give in it, while the new one has less than 1/8", or did when I installed it 2.5 yrs ago.

Celtic, sounds like a job well done, I'm glad its running well. As for the shroud, most of the applications that I have had, have some text, part # & Chrys logo, and I have found that the words on the shroud should be right-side up.
