Turkey Run 2018

Other than spring break I don’t really see many cars on the beach when I’ve stayed here.

Holy crap Batman!
Now that would be the week to shut the beach to traffic.

Yew Norkers love they're fireworks. I was in NYC for the 4th July Statue Of Liberty 100th celebration in 1986. The fireworks all around the city started at 7am and when walking home from the bars at 5am the curb/gutter was like a snowbank of spent firework paper.

"Now that would be the week to shut the beach to traffic."

Wouldn't matter as the beach has been closed to nighttime driving since the 80's, they just stop at one of the many new firework superstores around the city for the BOGO sales. They even tear up all the parks along the river, at one trash barrel I added up all the price stickers off the boxes to a total of $765.00, with the BOGO that's still over $300, don't know where our (ahem) Mid-Town residents get that money to burn up but a least they have cooled off on firing they're guns west of the tracks. Guess fireworks are cheaper than ammo.
