TV/Movie stars and their love for Mopars

No TV actor but Showman and road tester that had some recorded on film, Uncle Tom was reportedly owner and admirer of the Forward Look Imperials, not sure about the 55-56 models but I think he did some Speed Trials with the early 300s IIRC.

Road Test of the 58 cars, Uncle Tom hammin it out at its best. ;) ..

Love Uncle Tom... "corners as flat as a book keeper's chest"... I wonder what expressions he'd have to settle for today...
A high-resolution photo of that Polara can be found on Hagerty. The good news is that its current owner has been (I) enjoying his "Banana Boat" a lot since he bought it 6+ years ago and (II) posting about it on another forum.
Thank you for exhuming this thread...

If I remember correctly Carroll O'Connor, whom we all probably best remember as Archie Bunker, was a Mopar fan. I remember reading in a magazine article about Carroll O'Connor's classic car collection. When he was asked what he drove while playing Archie Bunker I believe his answer was a Dodge Challenger.

Richard Carpenter from the Carpenters had a huge collection of classic Mopars including a lot of rare Hemi cars.
