Wollfen's 1971 Sport Fury GT !

Hey Gary, remember that the '69 Fury I Pursuit is sitting on Coopers, check 'em out there and see if you like them as they sit - P225/70R15 and P275/60R15, all on 15 x 7" size rims. Similar sizes in the Polyglas range are available as repros - F70-15 and L60-15 (equates to P215/70R15 and P285/60 R15 sizes respectively I believe).

Get some Road Wheels widened to 8" for the rear (bear in mind what happened with mine) and some factory 7" wide versions (which I have not been able to source for the life of me. Derek, do these really really exist from the factory??? If so, models and years please!)

Yah there are a few RWL tires on the market and i believe that a Goodyear Polyglas would be the ideal tire for originality, or at least as close as possible. If H70 tires were made it would be no contest.

Thanks Derek, was actually in touch with that AKH lad previously (quite a while back now that I think of it). Bit pricey? But hey, he does have those rare wheels after all....

wouldnt say rare...think these are from 78-? era....looking at them today they remind me of gmc van rims type idea..he may be pawning them off as oem road wheels...looks to be 79 stamping...year mayby?

Looks wrong. Very wrong. Dunno why, but they do.

Sorry, not to hi-jack your thread, but I see these wheels on a '71 Chally that look very much like 71 C-Body Road wheels. Isn't that what came stock on the '71 Sport Fury GT?

Thought it was a shot in the dark, but you never know what people have done to their cars in 45 years.

just checking, wasn't there just 375 GT's--period? what is the other numbers mentioned? thanks.

ok, sorry, i forgot to put in the quote from the other page, perhaps the other numbers were known survivors. thanks.
