I’m replacing front disc brake pads on 1966 sport fury but they aren’t original. I bought pads for 1973 fury but look nothing alike. Please help! Thanks

Definitely not Budds, they are huge in comparison. The caliper shown appears to be a Kelsey Hayes 4-piston, used on A-body through 1969 or so.

Photo is blurry --- but that sure looks like the 1965 - 1972 Keley Hayes " A " body
Disc Brake Pad....
And, yes, I -- DO HAVE SOME -- in *** N.O.S. *** Asbestos *** ....

Talk about CRITICAL!!! --- you must have *** N.O.S. *** ASBESTOS *** to have that little brake system STOP a " C "Body !!!

If they are factory 66 Budd style disc brakes, what is a part # for replacement pads? I’m getting nowhere. Are there replacement pads available at any box parts stores? ( autozone, Napa, o Reilly s)

For anyone reading this thread,
I have sold 9 sets of the BUDD DISC BRAKE PADS in the last 8 or 9 months ---
And, after being down to three (3) sets, I am now up to FIVE (5) SETS !!!!
(I guess we will see how many sets I have after Chryslers @ Carlisle in 6 weeks...

I still need to have a handsome contest between Detmatt and Ross to see whom is to become my T V spokesman !!! (LO L )

Yours, Craig....

Hey Ross,
If you are as handsome as your cars, you definitely have a shot, EH ??
(That" EH ?? " was for you !!! )

Yours, Craig.....

As has already been established those ain’t Budds!

Sure ain't! How are they mounted on a C body?!?
If you can show us a picture of the fender tag of your car, we can tell you whether discs were installed on that car originally.
Regardless, Craig @mobileparts will have the right pads for your calipers.

Fender tag on my 1966 Plymouth sport fury. Are disc brakes factory on my car??
I come to think they are Kelsey Hayes 4 piston, 2 piece caliper style

Looks like whatever brakes came standard as there’s no number under the “D” so I’m guessing drum brakes originally.
