7am and Stan is off line............ you can bet he's in the garage with a cup of coffee "looking".

Hopefully Stan is setting that coffee cup down on his work bench and has his camera in hand and taking detailed pictures to post here so we can enjoy his new ride too.

Stan......more pictures man!!!!

Last week I sold my engine hoist, engine stand, and transmission jack for the sole reason that I would not be led unto temptation. I have found a new religion, Church of the Been There Done That Never Again. It's time to now enjoy them, not obsess over them.

Yeah, thanks

I'm still looking for my Super Bee and Challenger.

I would settle for a Coronet and clone the Bee.

So this was a Fla. car all its life; wrongly thought this was the Atlanta Craigslist car from last year.
Congrats anyways; nice overall appearance, did it have a recent repaint, paint looks rather glossy in the pics.
I give you three... no, two weeks until you start to just work on this tiny little detail, and that and these and those...:laughing4:

Happens all the time, even with a near perfect 20k mile car I bought last year.

I can't look at those monster long quarter panels without thinking back to an early Mopar Nats in Reynaldsburg when I saw this guy draging an NOS quarter panel back to his slab side '66 or '67 and told his 15? year old son to stand on it at the half way point and then watched the guy raise up one end, fold it in half and stuff it in his trunk. I walked over and ask the guy why he didn't drop the rear seat back and just stuff the whole thing straight in? He looked at me and I could tell by the look on his face that he hadn't thought of that. Their still out there folkz, and they keep provin' it with acts like that! Congratz Stan, you've scored an unbelievably fine piece of Mopar history and I think it'z in in the right handz, Jer

He only knew he had to fold something, just did it with the wrong thing.
I'd rather walk an NOS part home on my knees than folding it up. :)

congrats Stan !
How good is the body?
The Miami cars I have seen are usually bad rustbuckets.
The body is DRY and RUST Free.
I am shocked myself.
Every Atlantic and Gulf Coast Florida car I have ever seen is saturated with a coat of hard crusty rust and rotted rails.
I can not explain this one for the life of me.

I know. I know.......

Coming later today. Man, I freaking giddy..

Congrats again Stan! Good looking car! I don't like the tires, but the rest is Eye Candy. Was that your cane on the first pictures in the other thread?
Oh, the tires suck for sure. I'll remedy that ASAP.
The cane belongs to the seller. I was thinking how I'll be him in the not too distant future...

Fresh paint and a gawd-arful one at that. Not even a Maaco job. A Rodriguez "We Come To You Auto Body & Paint" job at that. I think it was prepped with a 4" disc grinder. Over spray on the trim. It's at best a 20 footer. Shines nice. Shame. It's a rust free never damaged body. Chris, pencil me in for 2019....

Get Pedro and his 14 cousins hot on the paint. LOL!:occasion14:

Sounds like you better seal the underbody and all the cavities asap to prefent this condition...

Turquoise and white. What's not to love?

Congrats on scoring a beautiful ride! Knowing the history is indeed a bittersweet thing, but you are definitely the right man to help preserve that. Well done!

BTW, I have a set of older Chrysler moon style caps that came on my car when I bought it, that would look great on there. If you don't go with those others, or if you want another set to change the look back and forth, just lemme know.

That's great. I'll keep it in mind depending on Chris. Thanks!
