Been a busy weekend. Spent another 12 hours on her today. Had to run up to Wally World, and get one of those awnings to hide under front the sun. Was pretty bright/hot lol. Sucks not being inside the garage!
Got the bottom of the front wall welded up. Still have a couple pin holes to get. Also stripped the passenger side down, and got all the old paint/bonds off. Back corner behind the bumper was the worst. It's getting fixed the same way..
Also had a few pin holes towards the front bottom. I filled em up with that all metal. As I said before, I'm not going all out on this bed. Just getting it looking good as a daily driver for now.
Also got all the holes up top filled with weld, then a coat of filler over. The best was getting the big *** dent in the side taking care of. Pulled out the old slide hammer, and took care of most of it. A couple coats of filler straightened it out. I'm very happy how it turned out. Still have to finish the rear of the panel, a couple more dents to fill, and spray some filler primer over it. Looking good though!
