View attachment 197221 View attachment 197222 My ’69 440 is being rebuilt. Due to slight corrosion on top of the cylinders it was deemed necessary to bore it over. We ended up to 0.03”, and a set of KB Hypereutic flat top pistons, some decking, etc, basic rebuild stuff. - Now, as I’m extremely uncomfortable with those dimensions, I find it impossible to calculate the resulting volume. Can you help me: how much volume the 440 will have as a result? Closer to 450 or so?

Your welcome, now we can move onto a Hypereutectic -vs- Cast -vs- Forged Pistons thread!
Thanks, but no thanks, I'd rather not get into that discussion. Hypereutectic will suffice for my purposes. I'm not looking for a street&strip wonder. Instead, I'll be perfectly happy if my engine builder manages to find even close to all of the quoted 350 ponies... many of which were missing in the first place... LOL.
