Where's the Imperial these days?
It's around, in fact I've probably been putting 75-100 miles every week on it driving to work. Just haven't had to do any work to it or accomplished any updates. Was just thinking yesterday about how I need to make a video of it. Late at night on the deserted 2 lane country blacktops around here, the Imperial cruises at 90mph like its nothing! I'd love to get a clip of it rocketing past a camera with the dual exhaust trumpeting!

Actually here's a picture from yesterday around 5am in the Imperial on the way to work

Is this 90 mph ? In that case you're ripe for the Autobahn.
I drive to work around 5:30, most relaxing moments of the day.

Yes thats 90mph, and it wasnt breaking a sweat. I've got a 40 minute drive to work that almost entirely consists of back roads...you're correct, its a great way to unwind after a crazy day.

Saturday morning my oldest daughter had a cross country meet, so the family jumped in the wagon and we went on a 125 mile jaunt. One middle aged lady litterally hung out her window and yelled "I love your boat!"...got a couple thumbs up and numerous waves too. My kids love the attention and April just laughs. Everything went smooth as silk, just hit the cruise control button and floated along.

Nice clock! That's awesome that the kids love the wagon. It's amazing the attention a scruffy car can attract, ain't it great?

Thanks Scott, yeah the clock didn't work as well when it was unplugged haha. It's mind boggling how much attention our old C bodies attract. People don't just look, most actually swivel their whole torso as we cruise by. Last time I filled up, the fellow at the next pump told me how he drove a C body wagon as a teenager. A couple weeks ago the grade school crossing guard told me that her husband grew up in one. The stories are piling up, tons of smiles per mile.

That's totally "false".... c'mon tell the "tooth"
If the gull flew over and dropped it on big red, would it "denture" fender??

So, today I took Old Red out for a casual ride down on Main street and to get fuel at the station.

Ran into this weird looking talking cat that said there's a new Tattoo shop down the block and that I should check it out.

Parked the beast in front of the Tattoo parlor I'd never seen before...

The owner "Harry the Handsome Devil" tattoo artist came out and greeted me with an uncomfortable hug.
