Question from the MCACN....what longer a B or C Body Mopar?

Yes, I do believe it is in reference to the N96 fresh air package and not the A12 cars with the fiberglass pin-on hoods, however, the question was referring to the 1970 car line up.

I believe there might be a fourth car, the 1970 Coronet R/T with 440 Six Pack appears to have been available without the N96 option?
As an option, it wasn't an option on the other three cars mentioned.

What about a fusey limo ....

Not sure what you are referring to? What wasn't an option?
The fresh air option. The question originally asked. So the Coronet R/T would not be one of the cars since it had the N96 option available. The charger, fury and Superbird didn't have the N96 option available. Does that make more sense now?

Hmmmm. Did I miss something or are you one of those who jump into the middle of a post without reading it from the beginning? Too much holiday cheer perhaps ?

Opening question of the post, "- what three 1970 Mopars were available with a 440 Six Pack or 440 Six Barrel engine and NO Fresh Air Package?"
Answer to the post, " -answer is 1970 Charger R/T, 1970 Sport Fury GT and 1970 Superbird."

Jim, I think you're the one who got confused when mentioning the Coronet R/T, after @Newport 66 asked about the A12 cars. Doug just answered your question. If you read it right, you wouldn't have added a car with the N96 option, so no need to jump on @69CoronetRT for answering a question you asked.

I know this, I'll never have any of those cars, way outta my price range.

Yes, now it makes sense "The charger, fury and Superbird didn't have the N96 option available."

I read, "what three 1970 Mopars were available with a 440 Six Pack or 440 Six Barrel engine and NO Fresh Air Package?" as these cars having the N96 available as an "option-delete" and not as simply unavailable on these models, period.

So glad this post kept to its original question and didn't veer off into other directions confusing the original and opening question. Now I got it. What we have here is a failure to communicate, or in my case an example of semanitcs - the meaning of a word, phrase, sentence, or text, as I read it to mean.

I stand corrected.

I dunno Dave, a '73 Imperial is 235.3" long. Bumper gaurds, gotta be it.

69-71 Imp: 229.7``
72: 229.5``
73 Chrysler T&C: 229.6´´, Newport, Newport Custom: 230.1``, Ny´er and NYB: 230.8´´

My '65 Monaco(C) is 212" long, my '77 Cordoba(B) is nearly 216" long.
If you take off the extended safety bumpers, which car is longer?

At the same time, park a '77 Cordoba next to a '77 New Yorker, which will be the larger car?

I had my Newport in a Car Show a few years back. A guy who had his Pontiac parked next to me told me he also owned a '69 Thunderbird 4-door. OK, I like those. But!! He then went on to say his T-Bird was as long, if not longer, than my Newport.

NOT!!!

Couldn't convince him of it.

My folks had a '67 4-door T-Bird. It was shorter than the '65 Newport they sold to buy it. The '69s had a big pointed nose, but they had not grown in size.
