1972 Plymouth Custom Suburban

Now that's a cool pic, where was it taken. The representation of c body wagons is primo. Who owns the newer Plymouth wagon.
Rockford Illinois at this Gyro place called Uncle Nick's. This was the sight the evening before Volo. We will do it again and Paul needs to bring at least one of his Dodge wagons. I was surrounded by Plymouths!

@AJC owns the formal.

That pic is saved on my desktop. Looks like it was taken during the 70's.

That is what made so retro cool. The billboard in the background seals the deal. Since there are a few fuselage and slab slide owners among us. lets do a Chrysler 300 series group photo.

"Just gonna fix it up and sell it." Uh-huh.

Scott, I think you're getting my wagons mixed up...this blue Monaco is the one that's going to find a new home

This is the inside of the 69 wagon's tank from Nebraska

That's crazy clean, the Monaco in the picture above is from Utah and also has a very clean tank.

I want to get one before everyone realizes how cool a Big wagon is lol.

You better be prepared to talk to people if you get one! Just today a FedEx lady showed up with a big grin on her facing talking about how her family had one...these wagons make people smile.

i've got this fury 3 , if your in need of some parts .

Thank you, depending on what this green wagon in the salvage yard has for parts, I may need something from yours. I appreciate the offer.

Can't take the Prolara out without getting someone walking up and saying something! It happened today and I just went to get some fuel and right back to the shop!

People LOVE wagons. End of story.

So in 30 years will people see someone with a 2018 Ram 4 door and say "Wow I used to ride in one of those as a kid with my tablet plugged in to the AC outlet"
Does not seem the same.

Sounds good to me! @Xenon can bring his wagon, maybe @Wonderwagon will have his resto finished too...I'd also like to bring this yellow Fury wagon and put it next to the yellow Fury wagon that @70 Sport Suburban 's Father owns.
Here's the build sheet, boy is it fragile.

Unfortunately looks like weather might have changed the plans a good friend up in that area @BLIMP said the storm the other day. Dropped 8 plus inches and it's all frozen solid would you still wanna go up to Camp instead and I can show you around.

Camp would be fine too as a fallback plan, whatever makes sense works for me.

We've had some discussion whether this trans cooler is factory or aftermarket, anyone have any insight?

Just have to say it's great that you saved this old boat. I had a 73 Custom Suburban back in the late 80's nicknamed Das Boot. It was the same color yellow as yours, but had "wood" paneling on the sides, yellow/tan interior. It's was so much fun to have as my first car. My friends all loved that car...and so did my girlfriends..

Best luck and keep updating. It's really hitting a soft spot for me to see this one come back to life.

Long live the Long Roofs!
