Still gotta get a tiny bit of temporary body work done and a finish polish done, but has been washed, scrubbed and compounded. Already a big difference.

Decided to lower the front end a couple inches-

Be carefull with that.
Lowering reduces spring rate risking bottoming out.
Lower ball joints are not cheap for our cars and lowering adds unwanted stress on them
Also an alignment is required.
Camber and toe is changed when lowered.

I just raised it back up, just enough to let the tires tuck slightly.

I am not driving this car yet, other than down the driveway and to the garage. Feeling things out, where I want to be, ect. It was way too low...

I will definitely be getting new tires all the way around and have it re-aligned to compensate to the drop.

Gave her some plugs and wires, no more popping/backfires.
 
Still smokes under the hood...not sure if its exhaust manifold gaskets, or burning off from sitting so long....or both?
