1972 Polara 4 door sedan

No. I don't get why you did all the differential work, etc. on this car only to immediately sell it off. The sale surprised me. . .
It’s been said that I can be highly erratic! I’m not in the best of health and wasn’t a good caretaker to it anymore. Everything has a beginning and end.
I’m going to turn this thread over to the new owner now.
Merci a tous!

New proud owner of Marty's Polara here.I needed a 2nd car for myself,and after reading all that he did to make it what it is,it was a perfect car for me.Ive wanted a tire roasting "copcar" since I was a kid.Turn key,all the hard work done.Im gonna enjoy the hell out of it this summer then concentrate on restoring the interior.

Congrats on the car! Will you be taking it (or the '69 Fury 'vert) to Carlisle?

This summer is about me and my wife having fun.I need both knees replaced so that is happening this fall.Cant drive more than hour at a time right now without being uncomfortable

Hey. Was this the one in Frankfort/Versailles KY a few years ago? Guy had a ‘70 & ‘71 Fury also. I wanted that Mad Maxed out ‘71 but some derbier beat me. I believe the Polara originated in Louisville. Remember it or one just like it with the road wheels.

I am the current owner of the Polara and love her! I'm getting its interior in order and plan on having years of tire roasting fun with her.Like Marty,I fell in love with these beasts from all the cool 70s movies.The most common question I get while out cruising is that thing got a 440? I usually just smile and light her up.Fun car.

That’s right! Makes them mad when they get smoked with a lowly small block taxi cab looking car!

DL41K2D267221 is now for sale -- see here.

DL41K2D267221 was recently marked as sold by @66l78rat in this thread, which as a result is now closed. An ad popped up on FB in Troy, MI yesterday showing the car as available, but it just was switched to "SOLD" -- I hope that we get to see more of the car.

@ayilar
Thanks for your diligent work in tracking cars so we can follow where they go.

A 72 Polara 4dr is a cool-looking car, it's on the short list of cars where I prefer the 4dr to the 2-door.
And this one has definitely had 'cool' built into it. (good work, @Triple Pickle!)

Hopefully we'll see this one again.
