Great idea for a thread.
Grabbing coffee with a few friends

Came back from walking around and another large beast was parked next to me.
selling my Quick Fuel 735 VS. It’s practically brand new but I found it a little too big for my application. I’d like to get $375 shipped for it. I’ll snap a few pics but all the info is in the link below.
Quick Fuel HR-735-VS HR-Series Carburetor 735CFM VS
I just swapped out my Quick Fuel HR 735 VS for a Street Avenger 570 VS today as a matter of fact. I always felt that he 735 was just a bit too big and I should’ve gone with my gut feeling and went smaller to begin with.
The 570 seems great so far. I went from 11 in of vac to 16. Idles much...
I had the Pertronix in my old distributor and it did work good but I was never happy with how long it took to fire. It seemed to take 2 or 3 turns and then light. With the new one it is instant. Maybe it was my setup I don’t know.
Not that I see on the lense. I could cut my own using the lense as a guide. I’m surprised DMT doesn’t carry them. Oh well I’ll figure out something. Owning a C Body....the struggle is real.
Does anyone know if a reproduction is made? DMT doesn’t seem to carry them, only for the Monaco. Mine are toast of course. I don’t really drive in the rain but....I’d like to know they seal.
Let me check and see if I can see it. This will be crazy, but if you check the FI section of the chevelle.com forum there is a ton of info for fitech and sniper.
Well it wasn’t easy. There was hole there anyway that was plugged. I just took my time and then tapped it by hand. Originally I had two adapters that took the place of the OE temp switch. But I wanted my idiot light.
If you go with a sniper, ditch the CTS that comes with it and purchase one...
I just went from bias ply to radials on my 66 300. I was amazed at the difference but I too can see the difference. For me though the ride quality and noise difference are worth it to me. Car looks great BTW.
