UNBREADED! '71 Monaco Wagon

Is Romeo still a "loverboy"
He is, but Winston is a smooch hound now! They've also swapped roles, Winston is on the couch, while Romeo chills in the kennel. It's been a lot different since Winston got his meds, he's like a whole new dog.

I'm ecstatic over the life you gave them.
Winston was dealt a bad hand for his first 18 months. Very grateful for the life you've given those guys.

Took the wagon out of storage today, I wanted to chase down a no brake light issue.

I blocked the brake pedal down with a shovel, and I had nothing. Turn the lights on and I had them.

Checked the fuses all were good, looked at the wire covers above the rocker. I just wiggled one section in the back seat, and tried again, and had brake lights, on the driver's side.

I'll check the bulbs and get it ready for the big show this weekend.

She's gonna get some miles on her this year. Mopars in the Park, Tim's show, Fox Lake show the next day, Mopars on the Mississippi in August (that makes two Chicago area Mopars shows), and possibly a CATL drive in September if @ayilar has something going on in Illinois around that time. And that's on top of just driving it like a car.

Scott, are you bringing UNBREADED to Tim's show. Post some interior shots, I want to see this one in person.

Well @david hill, the weather turned nicer, so I stopped by and got some pictures. Nothing fancy at all, just the buckets I traded for with Wyatt, the buddy seat that came with the car, from @sixpkrt originally, and the factory second and third seats. The hard to find plastics in back are all in excellent condition, but the footwell has seen better days. @71Polara383 may have a replacement for me. Carpet was taken out before it came to Minnesota, and who needs a headliner? There isn't a lot of noise due to no insulation on all that surface area, thankfully. I need to see why the air duct fell off last fall, but I'll get around to that sometime in the future. A little floor repair in the driver's footwell by the rocker/plugs, and the aforementioned rear footwell. The only other spot of rust is the driver's fender dogleg, don't know when I'll open that can of worms.

Dropped the car off at the local mechanic in town to get my leaky exhaust gaskets replaced. If only I had a hoist.

I got the car today, the exhaust leak is broken blots on the exhaust manifold at the head. I forgot that Wyatt had told me about that, and I didn't really drive the car much last year, so it slipped my mind. I also had him replace the battery cable terminal on the positive side, and replace the negative cable, along with a new battery for the car.

I took UNBREADED for a 45 miles cruise, east to a small town and back. The low oil pressure at low speed is still present. It has/had a slight vibration over 60, I think the tires were a bit flat from sitting while in storage. I didn't notice it as much on the return leg of my drive. The radiator seems to be working great. I wish I had an actual number to go by, but the gauge only got to just under three quarters of the normal range, then quickly went back down to the lower end, just past the hash mark when the thermostat opened, and never got to halfway after that. The rear window didn't want to move when I went to close it, so I had to put the wagon back in storage with the rain coming tomorrow. But Saturday looks like it's going to be a beautiful day for the car show, and UNBREADED's first official outing. I wanted to cruise through small towns on my way there, but I think the highway option is looking like the best one to take with the oil pressure being grumpy.

Slap a new HV oil pump on it unless you've already done that. Gave my fury 10-12psi more at hot idle.
