'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

I think @barnfind is looking for full rockers for a vert.
That's good to know. I'll help out how I can.
Nick I see a plan coming together...slowly but coming together .
Ideally I'll have it on the road for its 505th birthday..

For a minute there I thought maybe you where going to build His & Hers models:D
We have his and hers trucks and the moment....it was supposed to be a parts truck but you know how it goes....

Love it. I'd love to convert my 96 Ram PU to that grill, bumper, valance configuration one day. I changed my 99 Durango (same blue as yours) to that bumper valance recently because my 99 metal bumper was rusted out

My goal is to have this car on the road for its 50th birthday, September 8th 2018.

At the moment I now have nearly every single part I need for the car. What I don't I can get anytime in the near future.

This weekend at Moparfest, the stars aligned and I scored nothing but parts for Angel....even something I kind of wanted but could have lived without.....

Nice scores this weekend Nick! Glad to hear Angel is going to get some love over the next year. We all know you would get back to him.

Duh my trailer out off the hill on the weekend, had to use 4wd for the first time since I put the new 3/4 ton 241 t case in the ram. It worked perfectly....getting some quotes to get this mess blasted and epoxied...

Now don't buy any more car/trucks and give Angel some love. :)

BTW I am pretty sure people who are much closer to you in your life, agree with me and have echoed the same sentiment. :)

Yes, there is the look. You can hide random tool or car part, but a whole vehicle is a little harder. Now when you buy some land out in the country, you might be able to sneak one in under the cover of night. :)

That is my plan, I made her a deal, She can have whatever she likes in the house as long as I can have whatever outside, the secondary part of that is, as long as the yard doesn't look like a junkyard I can have whatever I like.

Basically there was a big eff up with cars this winter, the place I store the ragtop and caravelle was supposed to hold two spaces for me and did not, he was also supposed to leave my convertible So I could get it out...

Instead he buried it, and have away my spots, when I called, I was basically told "better luck next year, you owe me this much for what you do have here for this season".

So I find this out Thursday, I have a trailer booked for Saturday and my dad is onboard to help, (he bought a 78 Z/28 in July).

So now I'm scrambling...I have grey ahora this month, I swear...

I end up finding a farm that's closer, safer, cleaner, better and cheaper, and they have two spaces left.

I go get the trailer, we load the zedder, my dad follows me up in my Cheyenne, we get everything put away. I take and wash the U haul trailer before I return it.Then the other guy calls to tell me he has a space if I need it still....

So my ragtop is trapped till the spring, which I'm a bit pissed about. Now I guess my project this winter is to finish my neglected 73....

What a **** storm....

That's just a mouth face . When the lasers come from the eyes you know she's serious.
Around here... she starts researching the murder TV documentaries... I suppose by now, she's figured out how not to get caught.:wideyed:

Looks like your dad got a nice Z...

I bet winter storage is a PITA to find, so far I'm just happy to have found half decent outdoor storage. I am a little nervous about the idea of storing something nice anywhere I'm not in full control though. My week in a rental unit for the 4 door Imperial this summer involved several glue traps, poison and dryer sheets... and the place was really clean.
