The A518 can get expensive to build compared to the 727Is it as mundane a rebuild for a tranny shop as a 727 is?
I don’t particularly care for pickups as daily driver. However, my daughter loves them so we told her that is hers when she turns driving age.
Only if they've been altered from the factory, of course many of them have.@Joseph James if you're not failure with older 4wd trucks the front hubs had to be mechanically locked. I'm not failure with this truck specifically, but most likely it still has mechanically locking hubs up front.
A long time ago, I had a K5 that had manual hubs.@Joseph James if you're not failure with older 4wd trucks the front hubs had to be manually locked. I'm not failure with this truck specifically, but most likely it still has mechanically locking hubs up front.
Oh, well, in that case, if we do the actual math, is a 440 really a 440?? How about a 318? I know the Chevy 396 was really a 402....And the cummins motor is actually a 359 not a 360. ;)
(I know that.)The 396 was a 396 originally. Then it got a slight bore to 402 in 1970.
Butt u dint say it.u jus sed dey wuz 402s.(I know that.)
Usually easier to get into 4wd in neutral, even while rolling real slow
Yikes! I'd be afraid it'd fall out the bottom at that speedMy NP205 requires me to be going about 30mph and then put tranny into neutral and then hit/slap the transfercase shifter into 2wd....no other way will it shift out of 4wd engagement.
