1965 413 homemade motor mount

The # is 2205697-1 , so it SHOULD be a 65 block, correct?

That casting number was used for several years, look just below the casting number, there should be a casting date.

Dave

From what I see on the chart, it is a '64 426 , or a '59 - '65 413 block.

Look 4 spaces above also used for 413. Could be either since they both used that casting number in '64. Early production 426 engine were bored out 413's after the got better control over bore migration.

@mopar440 , what's to disagree? The pics are exactly as stated.
I didn't disagree, if I did, it was an accident

It's looking like basically, the original 65 mounts were shot, and they used the mounts on the engine, possible b body with those mounts on my engine?

If it has the holes drilled in the front of the block like the engine shown in the photo, it is probably just a matter of somebody not being able to find a replacement mount so they made there own.

Thanks @300rag ,,,
My post should have read "just above oil pump boss"....
Fingers are slower than the mind.. lol

Not sure about the '63 / '64 but
that mount is same for '65 and '66 "C"
and also '67 /'69 383 Dart / Barracuda ....
Not ‘66 C. They’re the same as B for ‘66 and later.
