So here is the rest of the repair. After you install the roller, LUBE the arm and install the new spring. The following pictures are of the finished job.

Now just in case ANYONE needs a hinge, I also repaired the other one.

Total cost to repair the hinge was about $8.00. You can buy the repaired one for $25.00 plus the ride from 46323. Thanks, and I hope this helps another member.

Lemme chime in here with a bit of info for other car types. This spring at HomeDepot worked very well for my 70 300 (2 door). Painted it white before installing....
