Now I'm wondering if it has a sure grip. Hope to find a build sheet too.
Built in Belvidere. I can't find any production numbers yet.

I have a couple of dual snorkels to but those aren’t as free.

The lower one has a bunch of holes drilled in it around the outside.:BangHead:

I'm wondering if it came with a dual snorkel. Let me do some checking Matt.
What will it take to get the one with no extra holes?

I found references that show two 67 C body HP 383 with dual snorkel air filters. None with single snorkel or unsilenced.
I'm guessing the dual snorkel is correct.... ?

From looking through the parts books it looks like the '67 383 4bbl., for Plymouth, uses the dual snorkel air cleaner with the round snorkels(the same part number as a '66 383 4bbl., and I think they all used round snorkels in '66). The '67 440 used a different air cleaner with a "newer" part number, so I would guess that those were the oval snorkel.
There is even an air cleaner listed with no snorkels. I have no idea what that one would look like.
Any of them would look good on the car, and a hell of a lot better than what is on there now.

Thanks for your help. Pretty much the same with Dodge C body's. Only difference is C.A.P or not.
The housings without a snorkel are the unsilenced filters. Popular on the A body's and very efficient and very loud.

I was happy thinking it was a base 383 2 bbl. But the HP option does add a degree of excitement. Brings down the production numbers too.

Will, no luck on that w/o moulding. He said that he hadn't seen the air cleaner either, but since you need a dual snorkel it doesn't matter. Good luck on finding what you need.

I appreciate you checking for me. I'm hoping my trim repair guru will be able to fix the molding.

LOL, lots of years in the business equals lots of friends in the business. To some of them I am the resource/assembly/mechanical guru.
We all have worked together sometime in the past. A lot of the folks who perform at the level they do tend to be very intense about what they do. Sometimes a little eccentric to. It has been a real thrill and honor to be a part of the team.
I'm a bit over the hill now but its great to know, whatever project I get involved in, that I know someone who will get as excited about it as I do.
