For reasons beyond my control :lol:this one needs to find a new home sooner than later.
See it here in great detail.
My new ‘67 Imperial convertible
I would be willing to sell the rolling chassis without any parts at all except what is required to keep it rolling and steering as seen in the following pics in this post. If you don’t see it attached to the car in the following pics it is not included. I did however put a better drivers door on it as the original was not worth saving and I had a spare and a pair of skirts. Obviously the rear bumper and bumperettes are included too.
The rear axle seems to function as it should and for this entry level price I will also include its original standard bore disassembled short block, a pair of 915 heads, driveshaft and a core 727 from a ‘67 Imp.. I will also throw in a radiator w/shroud and a full underhood ac system and HVAC box. Oh and also another top frame that’s better than the one that’s in it and the top motor is working but needs at least one new line.
I haven’t had any of wheels off of this car so as far as I know all of the brake parts in the 4 corners are still where they should be and the tires actually have 0 miles on them but I don’t know how old they are, possibly less than 6 years though.
The body and frame are very solid thus I’d rather not part it completely at this moment but of course I will if I can’t find a buyer as I’m offering it in this thread. The passenger side quarter has had some collision damage repaired in the past but is solid like the rest of the car appears to be.
There is no title or fender tag as of now so just bill of sale at this price. I could go about titling it for the extra cost involved.
Entry level price as explained in the body of this post after the link to the thread in the Imperial forum is $3,500.00.

The package above would be good for someone that might have a complete car with a rotten body and I would even sell for less if you didn’t want the drivetrain parts except what’s needed to keep it a roller. All is up for discussion.

Now for the other end of the spectrum.
Since it was a basket case when I got it and I happen to have a lot of what it was missing I’ve put together an almost complete package as follows.
Everything in the first post plus all the glass & regulators, interior & exterior trim, front bumper, grille, cornering lights, tail lights, dash assembly w/radio, wiring harnesses front to back, front & rear seats, all door & interior panels, working power window motors including vents, working power door lock solenoids, working power seat bases, 2 power antennas that will make 1 working unit, all switches for everything, mirrors, sun visors, door handles and latches, set of emblems, hood ornament etc.. basically a complete car to the best of my ability. I don’t have every single thing but most of it. This is still a big project that won’t be cheap but one that I think should be worth doing and for the complete package I’m asking $5,500.00.
Here are some pics of how it’s looking right now and I will add or can provide pics of all the parts that are included but not yet pictured here.

I will answer any questions and am also willing to customize a package somewhere in between the 2 above.
I also have some parts that are better than what’s included so upgrades are possible.
Here’s more pics of full package parts.

By the way I am 100% sure that I could part out all of the above for considerably more than I’m asking for the packages especially the complete one. I know this based on a lot of the same parts I’ve sold over the last couple of years.

Thanks for what you've done to save it and bring it back to project status.

Good luck with the sale.

Now I just hope someone “grabs the baton”.:thankyou:

More pics of parts to come.

Seats are in and the power bases and their controls are working although they could use a clean and re-greasing for smoother operation.

All the parts and a second standard bore 440 short block goes with it for $5,500.

One of only 577 Imperial convertibles made in 67...in case anyone was wondering just how rare these things are.

Just took the first step to get a title for this one. Had a police officer here to fill out the vin inspection form.:)

Got the vin inspection, appraisal and just ordered the surety bond so I should have everything I need to apply for the title with the dmv soon.

I bet y’all were wondering about the engine room.
The engine/trans that’s currently in it is from another ‘67 Imp and doesn’t appear to have ever been apart and spins freely.
Everything in the following pics is included.
