1971 Polara 2 door Hardtop.

See, it started already
It's started in April when I bought the Magnum actually. The garage I am in is packed wall to wall with Mopar stuff and lawn equipment. Something better is in the works for these two Polaras.

Took her for a bath and changed her shoes. These wheels came on my first car, 79 Chrysler Cordoba and have been on every other driver I've had. Don't kill me, at least they are a stock wheel Ma Mopar made.

That 318 will run awesome and scream like its trying real hard, like the little engine that could.
My first 71 had a 318 originally, then a 340, a 400-2, then to a 4. Went to a 440-4 then to a 440-6 and put that back to a 4. Then the ultimate 440 but it was never impressive as the 3-2s in appearance .

I'm surprised that the wheels actually look presentable. if it were mine it would be wearing road wheels in the long run.

So far I have just been working the bugs out and I've replaced the normal routine parts. New water pump, fuel pump, used mini-starter, brakes, fluids, filters and belts, Everything you would expect to have to change after sitting for some time. I also cleaned up the carb as it had a few issues...
I also took it to a local show to meet up with some old friends in my hometown about an hour away over the weekend. My buddy owns the Oldsmobile. It was a good time, the cars got some attention everywhere we went. Ran very good the entire time. But I need to get a sending unit for the tank. No fuel gauge is going to drive me nuts. That'll have to wait for a little bit though, this car is perfect for right now. As long as it stays running reliably like it has, I dont think I am going to change it for a while. I have a blank canvas in the garage I need to focus on...stay tuned for that.

That is a great looking car, congrats!
The wheels are fine until you pull the trigger on the Torque Thrusts.

I'd sell him the TTs off my blue car ...thats what his car needs. Good thinking Matt
