1978 NYB New Engine.....

I was still hoping for a Shaker... :(

Maybe with the carb.

The air cleaner is smashed up into the hood pad right now. I might have to remove the hood pad so it breathe a little better unrestricted.

Bob: I think a late (70-71) big-*** stock twin snorkel air cleaner with a black-crinkle finish would look both classy and butch at the same time. You could even leave the pie tin off, or to further fake out the B-Body guys, you could put a 383 Magnum tin on it.

Hmmm.. . like this? Needs cleaning of course.

I don't think that air cleaner base will work with my carb. That air cleaner assembly is taller than the one I have on there now. The hood wouldn't close.

I disagree. Bob's new engine needs to breath big time. As many cfm possible. Keeping wth the stock appearance went down the toilet $10,000.00 ago.

Adapt two rear window defogger ducts and use some hose, ala 'Lil Red Express style, and create your own cold air intake setup, but do you have space for the holes, or airflow?
