4 Speeds in 1966

It was only Chrysler that didn't have the 4 speed option in 66, Dodge and Plymouth still did. Really strange since they were basically the same cars.
But with the above, it shows that 3 speeds were Standard equipment in 66 and the TF was optioned. Go fig?
 
The automatic was something like a 282.00 option on my 65 Newport. I think the only option that was more was Air Conditioning. The TF was pretty much an automatic option. Most of the cars with the standard three speed were ordered that way.
 
Great, now we're back to not having a clue...
