Someone will end up getting a nice Imperial for a song.

Well I don't know about that, we'll see in 6 days at the end of the auction.

I have a feeling the auction wont run the full course to the end.

I'll use ebay as a sounding board sometimes. End 12 hours early and deal with the truly interested party's on a private bases.
And NO, I feel no remorse for screwing ebay out of the fees. After they put the screws to me several times ........ I'm up on them now.

I just looked at the pictures. When did Imperials start to have their own air cleaners, you know, the ones that say "Imperial" on them? The '64 I sold for a man did; this one doesn't. Was '64 the first year?

$16,250 was the winning bid, not bad for a '63 convertible Imperial.

I'd say that's a fair price, yes?

Considering condition, yes, I'd say the seller did well. In top condition it would fetch around the 45-50K mark, although the market for these is very limited.
