Yes I was looking at that car. I called the owner and ask about rust and was told It had some in the trunk. it was not his car but He told me he would put it on a lift and look it over for me befor I came down to see it. Never got back to me. Mybe bad rust? to bad I did like the car. Also do not like the wheels.

Martin, how did you find that one? I use a custom google search on CL and searchtempest for a 68 300 and 65 NY every day and never saw this one come by.....now my fantasy goes running wild about all the ads I've missed

You could have most of that off in 15 min at the wishy-washy on the trailer. It would really come down to how much pitting of interior chrome and how many holes in floor and rails.

Wasted road trip. I spent $600 to fly to Palmdale CA to buy the Gold 68 300. No go. Nice car from 20 feet. It had what I was looking for nice gold color black inside with console. Did not like the wheels. Bad part. New paint over rusty car. Inside was dark green not black. Someone did a ok job of fixing up a rusty car. Replaced hood 67, fenders and doors. Bad patch on floors, trunk lots of holes covered with undercoating, chrome bad. Car would still be ok or for a lot less money as a driver. maybe $7,500. Ok still on the hunt. Not happy about the wasted day and $600 travel cost but better then buying it, having it shipped and then see what I got.

No, did not want the car. I want a cleaner car. Not perfect a clean driver. Told him it was a $7500 car. He was a nice guy hope he sells it. Ok driver. Would not take it to a car meet.

I did send this add an email. Not much info in the add. that car is from the rust belt. Asked about rust on car. Looks good in add. Not crazy about the green color but will work with a clean car.
