Post em' if you got em .. yours, someone else's, or advertising. Will be a nice place to show off or a reference thread for those looking for info or examples. All 67 Fury's and VIPs ... if you have a story about the picture please share it.

This was my car during several years of my early AF career. Below was taken in Wichita Falls at local park circa 1986

So whats the story on yours.... white interior with buckets? Engine? Console? Where did you get it? How long did you have it? WHY WOULD YOU GET RID OF IT?

White bucket seats with auto console interior, 383 2 BBL ... no A/C just the flow through venting. It had power brakes and steering but those were the only other options. I put Magnum exhaust manifolds and duals on it, changed the intake and put a Carter AVS on it, and swapped the rear to a 3.23 SG and put the Firestones on. Otherwise it was stock. Dad found it on a lot in IL in the early 80's, low miles, and when I came home on leave a few months later I loved it so we talked and I traded him my 68 Road Runner for it and drove it back down to TX. I had it for several years, about 4 or 5 if memory serves correctly.

Somewhere around 89, Dad and I decided to trade back. He enjoyed it and drove it daily for several years after that but unfortunately one day my brother was driving it home from work and had a wreck and totaled it. However, it lives on in my memories, a few pictures, and so do Dad and my brother ... both have passed on.

Hopefully the few parts that were salvageable will go to others to keep them, or get them on the road.

Might be a Finnish thing.. Besides you have to love a guy that doesn't take himself too seriously;

Nice! Hey, is that Lake Wichita Park? I've worked in Wichita Falls a couple times over the last 6 months on some oil pipeline projects and went running there a lot.

Below are a couple videos of a cold start from awhile back and a very brief wide open throttle run from this weekend. Had some fun rodding around with the kids. The videos were taken with a phone but if you have headphones on you can still hear some good 383 music...

(not sure how to link these)

Yep that was it .. i was stationed there for 8 years and had a great time

How well did that champion fit?

The bottom mounting holes were right but the top holes were wrong but I painted through the holes on the core support and just drilled them quick. The bottom hose neck was 1/4" smaller but they make an adapter(slim piece of hose that goes over the neck to make it the right size) so it works. not the stock one I wanted, but cheaper than some of the better NOS or used radiators I found so I went with it.

Was it not rebuild-able?? What did it need? Did you save the whole car and strip out, or just pull smalls and let go?
