I think it is amazing you got her degreased enough for the paint to stick, nice.Some car ****. New water pump, intake gasket, and tappet cover gasket installed. Also went around checking the torque on the head bolts. All of em were good luckily.
Took all day to clean! I'll have to get it on the cherry picker to do the oil pan. Was not getting down in that nasty slop for it.

She certainly did. I recently learned of a good trick for repainting raised letters... Sharpie makes some pretty slick, oil based paint pens. Much easier to use than brushes and model paint ( if indeed that is what she used). I picked up a couple from Aaron Brothers because they always have coupons available.

Valves adjusted, and valve covers painted, and installed. Was pretty muggy today. The paint didn't like it. Also got the injection lines re installed. Have a few small things left, but she is about ready to go in the truck!

That's BADDASS Zac!!! Awesome work. Diesels were Chrysler corporate Blue? Or was that just your choice? Do you work on 75 NYB's?? Lol
