I mean on the front of your car! I'm thinking of getting one on the front of my Durango since we will be traveling a lot and it will be pelted with road debris. If you've had one done to your car what do you think of it?

I believe they sell a peel-off stone guard, but you have to know how to operate a spray gun. ;)

The latest thing is ceramic coating then a 3M or similar product up front. Consider the A-pillars and leading edge on the roof..

I did it on my challenger, depending on body seams and lines, mine is almost transparent. I think it was the 3m product, how it ages out not sure. Am thinking of putting the same product on my wagon behind the wheel openings as a stone guard

It works great. Better to get the nicks and scratches on the film instead of the paint.

Writing anything more here would make me feel so incredibly uninventive, I'll just leave it at 'no'.

I had one on the front of the motorhome. While it did stop chips, the downside was this 3M product did not like dried, flattened bugs. If not cleaned off immediately, there were stains left behind that were extremely difficult to remove from the film. No matter how hard I tried, there was still a ghost image of many splatters across the front, more noticeable on the darker colours. That makes me leery of putting it on something else.
