I started down a rabbit hole collecting a NOS muffler and resonator for my '68 dodge Polara which I am keeping single exhaust. Now that I have the back end covered I am moving forward. Parts book says I need 2856290 for the 383 2bbl single exhaust. I see one on e-bay for a '67 383, 2bbl single exhaust, but has a P/N of 2856220. The exhaust manifolds in '67 & '68 have the same P/N, so in theory the '67 y-pipe should bolt up to the engine. But I guess what happens and the shaping of the pipes after the engine concerns me (as well as the outrageous shipping cost of the y-pipe on e-bay). Also the connector pipe P/N is different between '67 & '68.
Does anyone know what is different between the two parts and years?
