firewall pad - replacement?

So, after pulling apart a large part of my dash over the weekend, I realize I need to put a new firewall pad in thanks to mice destroying much of it and water leaking down from my windshield channel finishing off the rest.

What's everyone been doing for a replacement? I'd like to keep more heat from the engine compartment out of the car, so I'm thinking putting Dynamat on there instead of the old school type.

Thoughts?

Assuming you are talking about the yellow insulation that is about 5 pieces, check with Detroit Muscle Technologies, they should have it

With the C-Body stuff I never trust websites.
My 69 Polara was the template for these with DMT, if it is a 69-73 with AC then they should have it.

I used something similar. It was a sound deadening foam that was about an inch thick. I put that over a layer of Rattle Trap sound deadening. Seems to work OK.

I guess I wonder because what was in there was not ok at all. Although part of that might have had to do with mice pulling most of it apart. Still, it seems like the modern stuff should do a better job. Although that isn't always the case with everything.
