Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

A Plymouth Fury iii, for a change! PM27L0D144022 's owner shared her tag with @70 Sport Suburban and told him it was fine to post it here. FF4 paint with M4F8 two-tone green bench interior and V3W vinyl top. Scheduled build date of Oct. 23, 1969.

Thanks to @70 Sport Suburban we have another Fury iii

PM27G0D180071 was recently for sale in Wisconsin. The new owner shared the tag for posting here. She seems to be EB7 Jamaica Blue Poly (aka metallic) paint with M4B3 dual-tone blue interior and V3W convertible top. SBD Dec. 17, 1970 -- tomorrow is her birthday!

Did that ad come with a translator?

Today we have one of 8 surviving (at least, as far as FCBO public info goes) T-code Fury iii 'verts. This ER6 red beauty was owned by Legendary Member @Fury440 from the time the car was first sold to the time of his passing 4 or so years ago. It is for sale in Ontario.

As I wrote before, these pop up for sale in Finland once in a while:

Thanks to @Kaim we now have the fender tag and some history for CM27T0C113618 -- a 1970 DR8 300 'vert that was originally bought to Finland from Sweden and again recently sold in Finland. Nice color combination (burgundy metallic paint / black buckets with buddy seat / black top), and a small but nice set of options too.

SBD was Sept. 9, 1969.

It may be curtains time for DL27G0D101373. There are a number of threads about this car, which is one of the earliest produced 1970 'verts -- the fratzog bumper is still there. The fender tag is missing, but @69CoronetRT took a stab at recreating it based on available info (on the assumption that the EB3 paint matches the original):

V01 V5B
V3W A04 M25 M31 M85 R11
EB3 L2B3 EB3 80? ??????
E44 D34 DL27 G0D 101373

At least we have the VIN tag:

VIN 01010_joeLoB9KilB_0CI0iP_1200x900.jpg

The car looked much better (at least, potentially restorable) when she was for sale in Illinois a few years ago. Now, sadly, such is no more the case: she is for sale in Wisconsin as a parts car or will be crushed.

That car had a 50/50 chance of getting restores a few years ago when I last saw it.
Probably 90/10 odds now. Shame.

Thanks to @67valiant 100 and @71Polara383 I learned today of two 1970 'verts that were junked, and we have the tags.

DL27L0D155358 was an FK5 70 Polara Ragtop whose owner, in Concord NH, "bought for $ 100 in the late 80s, it drove excellent, my buddies and I drove it everywhere, with the Top Down, the only problem was the Rotted Rear Frame, I sold it for $ 250 and years later found it in a junkyard, next to a 70 Fury." SBD of Nov. 10, 1969. @polara71 would have liked the color combo and black buckets/console.

The Fury iii in question is/was PM27G0D161739 -- an EB5 blue ragtop whose SBD was very close, Nov. 18, 1969.
