1967 chrysler newport....I am replacing all of my front suspension except the lower ball joints. They are still very good....and expensive to replace unecessarily...

What's the best way to seperate them from the LCA without damaging them?

I used this;

Mancini Racing Lower Ball Joint Stud Remover

I had borrowed the whole kit, and this was one of the few tools that worked on a C body.

Why do you want to separate it if it's good? If you want to take the control arm out to press in bushings, just unbolt the joint from the spindle. Least chance of damage that way.

I use a big hammer very carefully to strike the side of the spindle... If anything gets the crowd going this would be it!:lol:
