Mecum 2019 Motorcycle Auction

I was watching the Mecum 2019 Motorcycle auction in Vegas and just seen a 1978 MV Augusta 750 Sport America motorcycle with 952 original miles sell for $115,000.

I like old bikes but.....

I could buy about 40 Formals for that amount of money. Lol

The bike guys are as crazy as the car guys when it comes to auctions

They had a bunch of 100+ year old Harley's, Indian's, Henderson's.

I didn't realize that another reason motorcycle companies went out of business is that the price of Model T's was coming down to the same price as the motorcycles so people stopped being bikes and bought cars.
