My new arrival!

New positive battery cable installed.
Plus replaced the wire holdowns I broke. I had NOS spares leftover from the BoaB.
Also adjusted the p.s. pressure hose. No more rubbing against anything @Ross Wooldridge

Nice work.

Why do you think that lense melted?
I asked the previous owner and he suspected he parked near a heater in the underground parking.
My guess is probably when loaded inside the enclosed trailer the car in front of it was running and its tailpipe was directly in front of the lense.
The socket and housing are mint and no sign of any electrical issue.

Btw, while I had the tire off, brandy newish rebuilt cslipers, lots of pad.
Rotors will pass inspection but appear to be on the thin side.

It appears that the 15 inch steel wheels on Disc brake cars is the same as the cop wheels that use the pop on poverty caps??

So that warranted a headlamp aim/ alignment.
I have the Hoppy kit to do this..
All 4 lamps were really out of whack!!

Headlamps are MUCH brighter and after aiming should see clearly down the road.
Foggy? Raining? Amber high beams, baby!

After the headlights, I tackled the dash.
As I posted last fall, the guages were dead, and numerous bulbs were burned out.

Here is a secret that Dodge was keeping....
I discovered this during my cluster rebuild
Under the floor shift block off plate is....
So whether is was column shift or floor shift, you got the same basic cluster!
Floor shift just covered the column shift indicator!!
Pretty neat,eh?

So I determined that the fuel gauge was dead, dead.
Temp guage had continuity but the circuit board for it was fubarred
I suspect the old volt limiter packed it in and took down the board and guages.
So NOS guages, electronic volt limiter, new circuit boards and new bulbs with sickets.
