My new arrival!

Since the tilt/ tele TS switch is on the shelf at Unicorn Auto Parts, I focused on what parts I have.
Replaced the rotten ground wires, new battery hold down...and installed a new washer pump and jug

This is a good example why I stress to look over any "new to you"
Car..
amazingly the engine still runs on this coil!!

Lea what does this switch look like? I sent you something I had on the shelf on your FB page. Dunno if it was what you were looking for.

Had to MacGyver a horn switch to pass state inspection.
It will do for now.
Much rather do a proper repair when a tilt/tele TS switch magically appears from thin air.

I finished up the wiper washer system with new hoses and NOS.
cgeck new jug for leaks and tested the pump...It works!

Removed the alternator to do the fuel lines.
Also did the underhood ammeter bypass same time.
The repop fuel filter gas KV hose abd is date coded Dec 66--- same SPD as Grace.

One of the reasons I am ordering an Evan's harness.
I despise these piss poor of a hacker connectors
I inspected the bulkhead and all is good..no cirrosion,no melting
I installed one of Bill's electronic voltage regulators.

Tomorrow Grace goes up in the air.
Oil change, replace frt turn signal lenses ,
and install a new Positive bsttery cable.

I was able to install a new electronic volt limiter on the back of the instrument cluster.
Still no guages.
I checked for power on blue wire going to circuit board and it is good.
Now The cluster needs to come out and replace the board and check for any broken pins.
Somebody has been in there before. Not surprised after 56 years.

Looking good! Glad to hear you've got the turn signal lenses for the front.

Just a thought regarding that power steering pressure hose - it shouldn't really touch any part of the inner fender to avoid rub-through - loosen and turn the fitting coming out of the pump to make it stay in the air all the way from the pump to the box - it's designed to do that. If it interferes with the battery or whatever, wrap the part of the hose that touches the inner fender with pipe insulation such as you see in plumbing stores... you can see I did that and tie wrapped it to the main brake line coming off the master.

Ask me how I know... or dont! Lol...

Got more work done today.
WHich is a good thing as I will be driving the BoaB to Detroit to the Wings n Wheels show.
Then next week pick up where I left off.
In this shot, oil change in progress.
I replaced the positive battery cable, inspected the brakes and snugged up the frt wheel bearings.
You can see the melted turn signal lense!

That lense was a bugger to get out.
Had to break it into pieces and crush the rest to retrieve the screw.
