Need Extended Carb Mani Studs

Getting "Heat Soak" so I'm going to get the Fel-Pro's 1214 Valley Pan Gasket & 13834 carb spacer gasket (1/4") as well as Heatshields fire armor sleeve for the fuel line.

Does anyone know what length carb studs I'll need. I see the 1-1/2" & 2-1/2" lengths available. Is the 1-1/2" the standard size? The car is in another garage so I can't measure at the moment.

Let's say 1/2" for the carb flange, 3/8" for the spacer and gasket, 1/2" minimum for the nut and washer and thread into the manifold about a 1/2".

That puts it just under 2".

I buy allen set screws (Ebay or your local bolt dealer) in the proper length. Stainless is nice.

Thanks Big_John - I'm assuming the thread size & pitch would be 5/16-18/24 X roughly 2" allen screws

The "24" would be for a stud with fine threads (24) on one end and coarse (18) on the other.
