Hi there - M new to the site, but not to C-bodies, I had been going thru all kinds of various Mopar muscle, mostly 67-72s when I discovered this old 69 Imperial. It was a true basket case, needing just about everything. After sitting outside for a couple of years while I worked on other projects, I decided to sell it to a gentlemen in Chicago. The car was an Aquamarine color with matching interior, I loved it. I told myself if I ever ran across another one that was closer to being finished, I'ld buy it.
6 months later my friend Mark calls & says you better go to CL & type in 69. Lo & behold there is another one, a 69 Crown Coupe, with 69,000 miles for $6900. Well of course I had to go drive it & then buy it. The guys selling it had a father who passed away & he had 13 Imperials in various staes of renovation & I got one of the better ones. Here's my question - Does anyone know out of the 228-244 (depending on who says) crowns produced, how many were in this color combination? Thanks & I look forward to learning on this site, & from all the knowledgable members...
